2024 Tofino Surf Responder Summit
BWRAG is packing up its 5/4 mm wetsuits and wool sweaters and heading to Tofino, British Columbia for the first-ever Surf Responder Summit in Canada on JULY 27-28, 2024! The Tofino Summit is hosted by by Surf Grove Beachside Campground!

ABOUT THE COURSE:
BWRAG’s Surf Responder Summit is a two-day training designed for surfers of all levels and abilities. This course teaches you how to be a Surf Responder: an ocean athlete who not only knows how to mitigate their own personal risk, but who can also serve as an asset to others in an emergency situation. To learn more about the Summit curriculum, click here.
***PLEASE NOTE*** This Summit will not feature the MRV rescue portion of the Water Rescue Module. Instead, students will role-play rescue scenarios where they will synthesize learnings from both days into tangible, practical rescue situations that are most common to this region.

CURRICULUM: Emergency Action Planning / Mindful Breathing & Energy Management / Water Rescue Training (Unassisted Rescue, Surfboard Rescue, Rescue Scenarios***)
***PLEASE NOTE*** This Summit will not feature the MRV rescue portion of the Water Rescue Module. Instead, students will role-play rescue scenarios where they will synthesize learnings from both days into tangible, practical rescue situations that are most common to this region.
REGISTRATION FEE**
$574.99 CAD ($422.44 USD) plus applicable fees and taxes

Course Certificate of Completion (qualifies students to purchase the Patagonia PSI Vest; completion of a BWRAG training is a prerequisite for purchasing a Patagonia PSI vest. A BWRAG Certificate of Completion must be presented to Patagonia to begin the purchasing process).
**Refunds for Registration Fees will be issued in full for cancellations that are requested at least ten (10) calendar days prior to the first day of the Summit. No refunds will be issued for cancellations that occur fewer than ten (10) calendar days before the first day of the Summit.
